On the 1st of November 2008 the German Societies of the Clans Mackenzie, MacKay and MacLaren formed a Clan-Alliance to bundle the power for activities and events which are difficult to realize by a single Society.

Unfortunately our plans for the Burns Dinner 2010 failed. 

So we only had a small version in Salzkotten, Seat of the Clan Mackenzie Society of Germany. Obly the heads of the German Societies of the Clans Mackenzie and MacLaren met on Saturday, 23.01.201. Nevertheless we had much fun! Markus Kewitz and Dieter Deckert, Presidents of the Societies raised their glasses together with Ralf Berger, Piper of the Clan MacLaren Society. Martina Kewitz and Marion Berger had lots of fun and enjoyed the evening, too. Ralf played his bagpipe and 6 year old Lars Kewitz played the drum! It was the beginning of his career as Scottish Drummer!
